New improved wider, more comfortable, all Velcro Tag Rugby Belts
Modifications:
- Softer fabric for greater comfort.
- Wider belt (50mm) allows for easier replacement of the ribbon after a ‘tag’.
- Florescent TAG logo strip at the end of the belt makes taking on and off the belt very easy, even for the youngest of players, and especially if playing under floodlights.
- The shorter hooked Velcro strip inside the belt holds the belt firmly in place whilst playing but avoids belts getting ‘stuck’ together during storage.
Plus:
- One size fits all.
- RFU recommended size youth ribbons that are soft on the hands but do not crease or crinkle easily.
- The all Velcro belt makes attachment of a ribbon after a tag that much quicker and easier.
- Available in four colours: yellow; green; blue and red.
A Tag Rugby Belt has two coloured ribbons or tags attached to it by Velcro. The belt is placed around the waist with the ribbons positioned on either side of the hips. In order to make a tag a defender must pull off one of the ribbons from the ball carriers belt and shout 'tag'.
